Perdita brings a compassionate and holistic approach to supporting clients on their journey toward improved health and wellness. She earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2019 and since then has developed a strong foundation in mental health support, concussion care, persistent pain intervention and integrated treatment for physical, cognitive and psychosocial challenges. She enjoys working with clients both in the clinic and in community settings, helping them achieve meaningful goals in the environments that matter most to them.
Perdita's primary areas of practice over the last six years have been collaborating with clients following workplace injury; supporting veterans transitioning into civilian life; and facilitating private clients in achieving their wellness related goals. She has a passion for working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and fostering a safe and inclusive environment for every client she meets. Perdita's practice is rooted in evidence-based care and she has a deep interest in ongoing research and learning within the field of Occupational Therapy. She recognizes that staying current with the latest advancements allows her to offer well-rounded and effective support tailored to each client's unique needs.
Outside of the clinic, you will most likely find her on horseback, outdoors surfing, camping, or spending time with her animals - a sheep, cat and dog who keep life both interesting and grounded. These hobbies reflect her belief in the therapeutic power of nature, movement and connection, principles that inspire her work with clients.
