Changes in your health or life circumstances can come with many unexpected challenges. This can be especially hard when tasks that were once effortless are suddenly difficult to manage; things like being able to take care of ourselves or our loved ones, being able to maintain a work or school schedule, and enjoying favourite hobbies or leisure activities.
As an Occupational Therapist, I help you navigate life’s learning curves. I have experience in a variety of areas including chronic pain, PTSD, and brain injury, as well as adults living with autism and ADHD. I also have experience in supporting the recovery journey of cancer patients and their families. I strive to stay forever curious, and this guides much of my clinical practice. Using research-backed approaches, some creativity, and a bit of well-placed humour, my focus is to help you identify and achieve your goals based on your values and priorities.
Outside of work, I love exploring Victoria and Vancouver Island for their many hidden gems; whether its catching local events, camping up and down the island, or spending a weekend afternoon on my bike. I also consider myself a bit of a music nerd, and enjoy playing the flute both solo and with various local groups.
