I have been an occupational therapist for more than 25 years and during that time, I have learned so much about healthcare, various health challenges and about myself as well! I view healthcare as a partnership and I strive to support clients by listening, being present and using my experience and clinical skills to the best of my ability. I believe that support, education and encouragement are vital to success and seeing clients improve is still the most rewarding part of my day after all these years!
Outside of OT work, I love dogs and recently became a Certified Canine Rehab Practitioner. This allows me to apply some rehabilitation techniques to our furry friends too! For hobbies, the mountains are my favourite place to be so I try to spend time there skiing, biking or hiking whenever I can!
