My approach to occupational therapy is truly client centred, letting the client guide treatment while I introduce principles, strategies, and treatments that can increase engagement in the activities clients value most. The client is the expert in their lives, I'm the expert in occupational therapy and together we create a program that will lead to meaningful change. I apply and gentle and mindful approach to my work with clients, meeting them where they are at in their lives.
Outside of work I enjoy trying new things (I'm not sporty, but I'll attend a game if invited!), admiring architecture, and spending time in nature. Over the past several years I have been conquering my fear of water by learning to kayak (capsizing is scary!). I look forward to meeting and working with you!
