Originally from New Brunswick, Evynn moved to Vancouver Island after completing her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Dalhousie University in 2022. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Human Kinetics with a minor in Psychology from the University of British Columbia.
Evynn specializes in pediatric occupational therapy, with expertise in developmental milestones, sensory processing differences, and supporting children and adults with complex medical profiles and diverse needs. She has extensive experience working with children and families within the autism community and draws on a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approach.
Before becoming an OT, Evynn worked for many years as a fitness instructor and personal trainer, with a focus on clients working on post-stroke rehabilitation. She has completed extracurricular coursework in neurophysiology and metabolism and is particularly passionate about supporting individuals with diverse needs and/or complex conditions such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis (MS), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), arthritis and various hand syndromes.
Evynn brings a unique perspective to her practice through her lived experience with multiple concussions, which allows her to connect authentically with clients recovering from brain injuries and post-concussive symptoms. Her background in high-performance athletics—including soccer, alpine ski racing, lacrosse, volleyball, and track—sparked her early interest in rehabilitation and continues to inform her work with individuals navigating injury, recovery, and return to meaningful activity. She has also coached both youth and Special Olympics teams, deepening her commitment to inclusive, ability-focused care.
Outside of work, Evynn finds regulation in nature and physical activity—whether skiing in the backcountry, camping, hiking the island trails, or exploring tide pools, you can typically find her outdoors.
