I've always believed that meaningful activity is at the heart of well-being, which is what drew me to occupational therapy and what keeps me passionate about it. I take a trauma-informed, holistic approach to care, with a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing PTSD. I look at each person's life through a wide lens — considering how physical health, mental health, environment, and daily routines all shape the ability to participate in what matters most.
My practice is client-centered and rooted in creative problem-solving. I work closely with each person to understand their unique barriers and collaborate on goals that genuinely matter to them. Recovery isn't linear, and I believe the best outcomes come from strategies tailored to someone's real life, not a one-size-fits-all plan. Appointments with me are grounded in evidence-based practice, with space for honest conversation and thinking outside the box.
With experience across acute care, geriatric psychiatry, pediatrics, and adult mental health, I've had the privilege of supporting people at every stage of the recovery journey — from hospital to home to community. It's the breadth of this work that I love most, and it continues to shape how I show up for each client.
Outside the clinic, I grew up in Calgary spending every chance I could skiing, hiking, and backcountry camping in the Rockies. Now on the island, I'm trading powder days for surf sessions and working on my scuba diving skills.
