Dr. Ben Stebbins
Doctor of Chiropractic | James Bay
Areas of Expertise: Low back, Chronic pain, Concussions, Sciatica, Neck, Shoulders, Feet, Jaw pain, Athletes (weight lifting, high performance, youth athletes aged 8-18), Headaches/Migraines
My goal is simple: to help you get out of pain, stay out of pain, and get back to doing the things you love.
I take an individualized approach to care because no two people, and no two injuries, are the same. While I respect the history of chiropractic, my philosophy is rooted in the belief that movement is medicine. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, I combine hands-on treatment with rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and education to help you move with more confidence and resilience.
I've been involved in sports for most of my life, with lacrosse playing a major role in my athletic journey. After experiencing my own injuries and learning firsthand how frustrating pain can be, I became passionate about helping others recover, perform at their best, and stay active for the long term. Whether you're a competitive athlete, a weekend warrior, or simply want to move through everyday life with less pain, I'll work with you to create a plan that's tailored to your goals.
Working with members of the Canadian Armed Forces further shaped my approach to care and reinforced the importance of thorough assessment, high-quality rehabilitation, and treating the whole person, not just the painful body part.
Having grown up in Victoria, I'm grateful to be back home helping people in my community. Whether your goal is returning to sport, keeping up with your grandchildren, or simply moving through life with greater ease, I'm here to help you build strength, confidence, and lasting results.
Outside the clinic, you'll usually find me staying active, volunteering at local sporting events, or continuing my education in rehabilitation, pain science, athletic development, and human performance.
