I became an occupational therapist following a previous career in education. Some of my most memorable moments as an educator were supporting and witnessing students working towards their personal goals and seeing how their participation and confidence grew as a result. I was thrilled when I learnt about the field of occupational therapy and realized that I could focus my career on supporting folks in finding meaningful ways to participate in the activities that are important to them.
Throughout my training and clinical experience, I have had the opportunity to work in various settings including mental health, pediatrics, long-term care, and acute care. I have a particular passion for supporting individuals living with chronic pain, an interest informed by both clinical and personal experience.
As your occupational therapist, I work collaboratively with you to reach your goals. Your personal experience and expertise will guide our work while I offer education, evidence-based approaches, and collaborative problem-solving to create a plan that is personalized to you.
Outside of work, you can often find me exploring the mountains, forests, or coastlines with loved ones.
