I love being a counsellor and enjoy working with all ages. I recognize that reaching out to a counsellor for the first time is a courageous step! Part of you wants to come and another part of you wants to run the other way. I get that. All parts are welcome in therapy. Creating a safe, non-judgmental place for your healing journey is something I value. All of my work is client centred, trauma informed, neuro-affirming, LGBTQI2SA+ affirming and centres around your individual experience, needs and goals. I may draw from different modalities: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MCBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
I acknowledge my White settler status and the cultural privilege I carry. I am honoured to practise counselling on the Unceded traditional territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ and Lekwungen Indigenous Peoples.
I am a bit of nerd when it comes to life-long learning and non-fiction is my jam. Currently, I am honing my skills as I am an avid bird listener.
