Meet Deleena, a Registered Clinical Counsellor and graduate of the University of Victoria’s master’s degree program in Counselling Psychology. She also holds a degree in Child and Youth Care and has received specialist training in nature-based therapeutic approaches.

Deleena supports individuals to manage:

• Anxiety disorders

• Relationship concerns

• Emotion Regulation

• Low self-esteem

• Concerns navigating life transitions

Deleena’s counselling style is comprehensive and integrated. She draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems, Nature-Based Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to help her clients reduce stress and find a greater sense of meaning in their lives. In her counselling sessions, Deleena employs mindfulness strategies to help clients cultivate awareness of the present moment.

Beyond her professional commitments and dedication to lifelong learning, Deleena loves staying active, doing yoga, travelling/exploring new cultures, and spending time with family.
