Starting counselling can feel like a big step, so my goal is to make the process feel as comfortable as possible. I believe that meaningful change often begins within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, where you feel heard, understood, and accepted just as you are.

My approach to counselling is emotion-focused, acceptance-based and trauma-informed. I work in a relational and integrated way, drawing from different approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you. I bring warmth, empathy, and at times a bit of humour into the counselling space to help foster ease even when discussing difficult topics.

I believe that you are the expert in your own life, so I strive to meet you where you’re at, and honour the strengths and wisdom you bring to the space. Together, we can make sense of emotional experiences, deepen self-understanding, explore challenges, and build tools so you feel empowered to make meaningful change.

When I’m not in the counselling space, you can find me hiking or at the beach, baking new recipes, or enjoying a cup of tea while reading a good book.
