Physiotherapy treatment at Tall Tree starts with a thorough medical screen, client history, and physical assessment. Your physio will target your specific goals and develop a treatment plan that is right for you. Following your assessment, you’ll receive a custom treatment program based on your goals and the latest research.
-
We recommend booking your first follow up after the initial assessment to help facilitate a comprehensive treatment plan.
FAQs

Initial assessments are 60 minutes. Follow-up sessions are typically 30 to 60 minutes depending on your treatment plan and what your physio recommends. We never rush appointments, your physio will spend the full time with you.

Most extended health plans cover physiotherapy. Tall Tree Health direct bills the majority of extended health providers, so in most cases you pay nothing upfront. We also direct bill ICBC and WorkSafeBC for eligible claims.

This varies depending on your condition and goals. Your physiotherapist will give you a realistic treatment plan at your initial assessment. Many acute injuries resolve in 4–8 sessions; complex or chronic conditions may benefit from longer-term care. You are never locked into a set number of visits.
-
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. For example, shorts for knee or hip issues, a tank top for shoulder problems.
We are a member of the ICBC Recovery Network which is a group of allied health care practitioners and clinics who can direct bill ICBC during your recovery. It includes acupuncturists, chiropractors, counsellors, kinesiologists, massage therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and psychologists.
