I know what it's like to compete at a high level, and I also know what it takes to recover from injury and build yourself back up. While rowing at Michigan State University, I helped the Spartans win a Big Ten Championship and achieve a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Division I National Rowing Championships. During that time, I also worked as a personal trainer, helping people reach their fitness goals.
My clinical interests include pain, hypermobility, and helping people with conditions such as temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder. I'm passionate about helping people better understand their pain and develop the confidence and skills to manage it.
I've completed Schroth 3-Dimensional Exercise Therapy for Scoliosis and Kyphosis. While Schroth is particularly effective for children and adolescents with scoliosis who are still growing, I also enjoy working with adults and tailoring rehabilitation plans to their individual goals.
I believe in an active approach to rehabilitation that builds resilience for the long term. I've completed additional training in Stott Pilates and Polestar Pilates for Rehabilitation, along with numerous courses in movement assessment. I enjoy helping people better understand how they move and teaching them strategies to manage their pain and support their recovery.
My additional training includes Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS dry needling), manual therapy, strength training, core rehabilitation, bone health, post-viral fatigue conditions, chronic pain, mindfulness, and Tai Chi.
In 2021, I was honoured to receive the Peter Huijbregts Memorial Award from the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia in recognition of my positive contributions to the community.
I'm committed to staying up to date with the latest evidence so I can combine research with an approach that's tailored to your goals, your lifestyle, and what works best for you.

“I had a telehealth consult with Jenna Peters today. My chronic pain feels less mysterious now, and I have new ways of approaching healing. I am so grateful for Jenna’s kindness, knowledge, and empathy. I’ve had a lot of healthcare professionals be shocked and mystified by my condition yet Jenna patiently listened and allowed what is to be, and then offered novel ways to approach it. I can’t recommend her support with more enthusiasm.”
