I absolutely love being a physiotherapist because I get to help people live their lives with comfort, confidence and joy. I am so proud to be a physiotherapist because our profession has been ahead of the medical game for decades: from advances in research showing exercise is medicine, to looking at every aspect of our lifestyles and how it affects our health, the scope that we can help people improve their health is so fulfilling. I truly feel like I am equipped to help all my clients in multiple aspects of their health and lifestyle. My approach to care involves listening to you, your experiences and your goals. Your experience in your body is unique and my goal is to help coach and support you through recovery.
I offer my expert opinion and what is relevant and based in new research and medicine, and you tell me what works with your lifestyle, injury and goals. Together we make the best team! I will push you when you need, and also be a listening ear and safe space for support when recovery gets tough. I am really nerdy about all things health, exercise and understanding how all body systems work together. Outside of work, you can find me riding my bike, lifting some weights, and chasing after my toddler and dog. Once everyone is asleep, I love to open up a good fiction or non fiction book. My goal is to read 30 books a year!
