INTRODUCTION TO MEDITATION

Learn meditation through experiential exercises, guided meditation, and group discussion. Gain knowledge and tools for daily life as we explore:

  • Our inherent nature

  • Seated practice & walking meditations

  • Awakening our senses

  • Mindfulness and working with emotions

  • Home practice

LEVEL 2

CONTEMPLATIONS & COMPASSION PRACTICES

Build on your experience from the Level 1 course. Gain tools for daily life as we cultivate your practice through experiential exercises, guided meditation, and group discussion.

We will:

  • Review and expand on Level 1 techniques

  • Use breathwork (pranayama) to support practice

  • Learn how contemplations help us embody our true nature

  • Develop compassion practices for yourself and others' benefit

  • Support your home practice

Meditation practices and guided meditation are techniques that encourage and develop concentration, clarity, emotional positivity, and calm vision of the true nature of things. By engaging with a particular meditation practice, you learn the patterns and habits of your mind, and the practice offers a means to cultivate new, more positive ways of being.

With regular work and patience, this nourishing focus can deepen into profoundly peaceful and energized states of mind.
