Sleep impacts our health and every area of our lives. To get started, here are 7 tips to improve your sleep. Our Sleep Therapy and Insomnia Treatment Program follows a CBT-i (cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia) approach, and offers comprehensive assessment, personalized therapy plans, and education for individuals ages 19+. We specialize in aiding those needing support with chronic sleep issues or insomnia and are dedicated to helping you understand and overcome your sleep challenges.

We provide top-tier, evidence-based sleep therapy and connect you with the resources you need, enabling you to focus on improving your overall health.

    2. If you’ve been diagnosed with a sleep-related condition (ex. sleep apnea), please see additional details in drop down below.

    3. In-person services are only available at our Cordova Bay location. Virtual care can be provided throughout BC.

  • If you've been diagnosed with sleep apnea or another medical condition (eg. restless leg syndrome):

    • Please consult with your doctor or nurse practitioner to gain their clearance before starting treatment in a CBT-i based program.

    • Follow your medical provider's advice.

    Your sleep treatment team can provide you with treatment and guidance to get better while working in collaboration with your healthcare provider. Just let us know if this is the case.

    NOTE: All appointments outside of Victoria, BC will be held virtually.

  • Intake Appointment: 50 minutes

    During your intake appointment, you’ll meet with our psychologist who specializes in sleep and insomnia. In this appointment, your psychologist will review your symptoms and sleep issues present and may provide some sleep education and recommendations.

    Our comprehensive intake assessment typically includes an in-depth interview where we look at all factors that may impact your sleep problems.

  • Follow-Up Appointments: 50 minutes

    Following your intake appointment, our psychologist will discuss the recommended treatment and how our sleep treatment team will support you. Frequency of appointments will vary depending on your needs and availability.
