Jeremy is about as homegrown Victorian as it gets: born at Victoria General, raised in Metchosin, went to the University of Victoria, and lived in the Greater Victoria area for my entire life minus a brief 3 year stint in the northern climbs of Fort St. John, BC. Being a kinesiologist at Tall Tree and getting to work with so many different types of people all trying to better their health in one way or another is my absolute joy and pleasure. I get very excited to hear people's stories, goals and dreams and help them become a reality. In particular, my excitement reaches its peak when I get to know someone's fears and things that make them nervous, because there is nothing that I love more than slowly, gently, steadily reframing, then experimenting with, and then finally conquering a fear! Anything from simple things like balancing on wobbly ground or getting up and down off the floor, all the way up to lifting that personal best weight or more advanced athletic movements, and everything in between. My nerdiness to try and meet people where they are at and bring them step by step closer to doing the things that they really want to do in life knows no bounds.
Outside of work, my family life keeps things pretty busy, chasing my 3 kids, growing veggies in the garden, and going on adventures involving the outdoors. Exploring the local trails, visiting a farm yard to view some animals, or searching out the coolest waterfalls are all things that bring life meaning for me.
