My path to physiotherapy was an unexpected one: while studying marine biology, I worked in a medical imaging department and gained an appreciation for the impact of compassionate care. Later, my own experience with physiotherapy showed me how meaningful it can be to regain the ability to do the things you enjoy. That experience inspired me to redirect my studies toward the profession. Today, I enjoy combining analytical problem-solving with the opportunity to help people move better and return to the activities that matter most to them.
My approach to physiotherapy is grounded in listening. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the rehabilitation process. By taking the time to learn about your experiences, goals, and priorities, we can work together to create a plan that feels practical, collaborative, and aligned with what matters most to you. I take an active approach to rehabilitation, incorporating hands-on techniques when they can help facilitate progress.
I enjoy working with people experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, alongside a particular interest in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, including dizziness and balance concerns. I find it rewarding to explore the many factors that can contribute to symptoms and recovery, and I am committed to ongoing learning so I can continue bringing new knowledge into my practice.
Outside the clinic, you'll usually find me spending time with my family (mostly chasing after my two young kids), mountain biking, trail running, or puttering around in my garden. And in case you were wondering, I still have an appetite for learning about marine life when I get the chance!
