I’m a Saanich Peninsula–born physiotherapist and I’m excited to be treating in my community as part of the Tall Tree Health team. My focus is on collaborating with each client to help them achieve their goals and return to sport, work, or daily life.
I grew up in the world of sports, playing everything I could get my hands on. I worked as a tennis coach for 6 years, played volleyball at a high level, and competed nationally in track and field. Through athletics and coaching, I developed a strong passion for human movement, which led me to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria. While at UVic, I worked with the Velox Rugby Club, managing on-field treatment and return-to-sport planning. I also gained experience supporting individuals with disabilities as a summer camp support worker. These experiences motivated me to pursue my Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia, where I graduated in 2017.
I take an active approach to rehabilitation, focusing on exercise, hands-on manual therapy, and education. I prioritize listening, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing realistic strategies that fit into busy lives. I’m an eager learner and have completed a variety of post-graduate courses focused on manual therapy techniques and the latest in clinical rehabilitation research. I enjoy working with people of all ages and activity levels, from athletes returning to sport to seniors looking to improve function.
Outside the clinic, I stay active as a recreational all-star athlete, playing volleyball, tennis, hockey, and touch football. When I’m not testing my own rehab advice, you’ll often find me at the park or beach with my wife and dog, Harlowe.
