WHAT IS MASSAGE THERAPY?
Massage therapy decreases stress and helps control pain. Our Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are trained in the assessment and treatment of conditions involving the body’s soft tissues and joints. RMTsprovide relief for many common conditions, including:
- migraine headaches
- sports injuries
- soft tissue sprains and strains
RMTs are trained in the assessment and treatment of conditions involving the body’s soft tissues and joints. They are also trained in the treatment and prevention of injury, pain and physical disorders.
We offer direct billing for this service.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
initial visit: 45 min
subsequent visits: 30/45/60/75/90 min, your choice
The RMT training here in BC is the highest standard of education in the RMT profession across North America. Our RMTs at Tall Tree constantly undergo continuing education and training to further their skills to better assess and treat their patients. The multidisciplinary nature of Tall Tree Integrated Health Centre allows your RMT to work closely with other health providers, such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and kinesiologists, to achieve best results.
Perhaps less known is the effectiveness of massage therapy in treating deeper structures of the body such as ligaments, bones, joints, fascia, blood vessels, organs and other soft tissues of the body.
