Tall Tree's Amazing RMTs
Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are trained in the assessment and treatment of conditions involving the body’s soft tissues and joints. They are also trained in the treatment and prevention of injury, pain and physical disorders. The RMT training here in BC is the highest standard of education in the RMT profession across North America. They focus their massage therapy on treating the symptoms and the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction.
Massage therapy decreases stress and helps control pain. Perhaps less known is the effectiveness of massage therapy in treating deeper structures of the body such as ligaments, bones, joints, fascia, blood vessels, organs and other soft tissues of the body. RMT at our Victoria Health Centre can provide relief for many common conditions such as migraine headaches, tendonitis, arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, sports injuries and various other soft tissue sprains and strains.
The RMT team at Tall Tree constantly undergo continuing education and training to further their skills to better assess and treat their patients. The RMTs at our Victoria health centre are skilled at a variety of techniques including deep tissue, myofascial release, reflexology, and sports massage. The multidisciplinary nature of Tall Tree Integrated Health Centre allows your RMT to work closely with other health providers, such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and kinesiologists, to achieve best results.
