-
At your initial session, you will meet with your RMT to get to know each other and discuss how you are feeling and any specific areas of concern that you would like to focus on. Your RMT will recommend a treatment plan for future sessions and will work closely with other providers in our multidisciplinary team to address your specific needs and goals.
-
At follow-up appointments, your RMT will review your progress, reassess your symptoms, and adjust your treatment as needed. Treatment will continue to focus on your goals while supporting recovery, pain management, mobility, and overall well-being.
*Availability of 45-minute appointments varies by practitioner. Please contact your nearest Tall Tree location for details.

Yes — therapeutic massage is effective for many types of chronic pain including back and neck pain, tension headaches, fibromyalgia, and repetitive strain injuries. -
ICBC massage billing is available, but note that our Cordova Bay and James Bay locations do not offer direct billing or ICBC treatment planning for massage. Please call us to discuss your situation and we will direct you to the right location.
-
We offer 45, 60, and 90-minute massage appointments (depending on your location). Your RMT will recommend the appropriate length based on your goals. Initial visits are 60 minutes to allow time for an intake assessment and treatment.

Your RMT will take a brief health history, discuss your goals and any areas of concern, and then provide hands-on treatment. They will recommend a treatment plan and, where relevant, communicate with other Tall Tree clinicians to coordinate your care.
We are a member of the ICBC Recovery Network which is a group of allied health care practitioners and clinics who can direct bill ICBC during your recovery.
