Nate Diedrich, Massage Therapist at James Bay

Registered Massage Therapist | James Bay

Areas of Expertise: Deep tissue, Mobility and range of motion, injury prevention and recovery, stress relief and relaxation, myofascial release, sports and activity-related injuries

Growing up, I played nearly every sport I could. This sparked my interest in movement, performance, and how the body works. That curiosity led me to study Kinesiology and eventually work my way into the field of massage therapy.

Before becoming an RMT, I spent over five years working as a personal trainer. That experience gave me a strong background in movement and rehabilitation, and it continues to influence how I approach treatment today. I really enjoy working with active individuals and helping people navigate pain, move better, and return to the activities they love.

I tend to focus on treatments that incorporate deeper pressure and movement. I enjoy using techniques that combine deep tissue work with range of motion to help improve mobility, reduce tension, and support recovery. I also provide blended therapeutic and relaxation treatments designed to calm the nervous system and promote overall well being.

My goal in the treatment room is to create a relaxed and comfortable environment where clients feel heard and supported. I take an individualized approach and enjoy working collaboratively with clients to find what works best for their body and their goals.

Outside of the clinic, I love spending time outdoors. I’m often training for my next endurance race, surfing with friends, hiking with my partner and our dog, or exploring new trails around Vancouver Island.
