I am a Licensed Psychologist who provides psychotherapy using various approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
EMDR is well known for its benefit of reprocessing and neutralizing traumatic and disturbing memories by reducing their emotional impact. The nervous system is then able to shift out of the fight or flight response and is thus calmer and more at peace.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy brings a focused, problem solving approach to psychotherapy, and mindfulness assists with addressing emotions and provides multiple physiological and emotional benefits.
These approaches help clients improve their well-being, lessen their distress, and increase their ability to solve problems and make decisions. As a psychologist, I work to promote growth by helping clients better use existing resources, learn strategies, and build skills to develop new ways to help themselves.
In addition, I specialize in Health Psychology and Behavioural Medicine, which centers on coping with health issues such as chronic illness, physical rehabilitation, burns, and traumas.
I enjoy working with people to reduce their distress from trauma/PTSD, generalized anxiety (GAD), panic disorder, depression, health issues, as well as with end of life issues and grief.

Trauma & PTSD: Using approaches including EMDR and CBT, we can work together to process traumatic or distressing experiences and reduce the impact they continue to have on your everyday life.
Anxiety & Panic: If worry, fear, or panic is getting in the way of your life, we'll work on understanding what's driving it and developing strategies to help you respond differently.
Depression: Therapy can help you understand patterns contributing to depression, build practical coping strategies, and take manageable steps toward feeling more engaged in your life.
Health Psychology & Chronic Illness: Physical health challenges can affect nearly every part of life. I support people navigating chronic illness, rehabilitation, injury, and other health concerns while developing strategies to manage their emotional and psychological impact.
Grief & Loss: Grief can look different for everyone. Therapy can provide space to process loss, understand what you're experiencing, and find ways to move forward while honouring what matters to you.
End-of-Life Issues: I support individuals navigating the emotional and psychological challenges that can accompany serious illness, end-of-life concerns, and the uncertainty that comes with them.
Stress Management: Together, we can identify sources of stress and build practical strategies, including mindfulness and relaxation techniques, to help you feel more grounded and better equipped to manage life's demands.
