Having trained as a massage therapist and in yoga nidra in the early 2000s, I’ve long been devoted to mind-body approaches to healing and dedicated to staying current in my clinical specialties. Those passions stayed with me when I became a psychologist in 2013. I’m currently completing Level 3 training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), an approach grounded in contemporary neuroscience and shown to help reverse chronic pain and other persistent physical symptoms.
I use an attachment-based and trauma-informed approach and am known for my warm frankness, slow pace, and collaborative approach to meaningful change. I work with clients to co-create a compassionate, safe environment where they can learn to tenderly listen to and support themselves, transform their inner and outer relationships, and optimize their lives in all areas.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my cats, Bitsy and Luna, reading and writing, going on walks and bike rides along the BC’s bays, playing wholesome open-world video games, drawing poorly and painting messily, meditating, and spending time with friends near and far.
