Dr. Ava Maleki began her studies at the University of British Columbia, earning a Bachelor of Science in Global Resource Systems. Her exploration of health, along with the larger systems that influence it, including economics, technology, and policy, inspired her integrative approach to care and led her to pursue a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Boucher Campus). Through her training and experience with patients, she has discovered a passion for helping people achieve healthy skin and balanced digestion.

Philosophy & Approach

Ava practices with an evidence-informed lens, blending clinical research with practical, everyday strategies. At the core of her work is patient empowerment — helping people understand what’s happening in their bodies so they feel confident making decisions for their health. She believes that when patients are informed, they’re better equipped to make lasting changes.

When she’s not with patients, Ava enjoys yoga, forest walks, and quiet time with her cat. A lifelong learner, she’s often immersed in books, workshops, or new experiences. Lately, she’s been drawn to Taoist philosophy, exploring how to cultivate calm and balance in a busy world.
