WHEN DIZZINESS IS HOLDING YOU BACK

Vestibular physiotherapy for dizziness, vertigo, and balance concerns

Feeling dizzy, off-balance, or unsteady can affect every part of your day. Whether your symptoms started after a concussion, inner ear condition, illness, or seemingly out of nowhere, vestibular physiotherapy can help identify the cause and guide your recovery.

Using a combination of assessment, exercise therapy, and evidence-based treatment techniques, vestibular physiotherapy helps retrain the systems responsible for balance, coordination, and spatial awareness so you can move with more confidence and less discomfort. Vestibular rehabilitation is commonly used to treat conditions such as vertigo, dizziness, balance disorders, vestibular neuritis, and concussion-related symptoms.

At Tall Tree, we’re here to support you with:

  • We take the time to understand your symptoms, identify contributing factors, and determine whether your vestibular system may be playing a role.

  • Your treatment may include vestibular rehabilitation exercises, balance retraining, gaze stabilization exercises, and positional manoeuvres when appropriate.

  • No two vestibular conditions are exactly alike. Your treatment plan is tailored to your symptoms, goals, and daily activities.

  • Your initial vestibular physiotherapy appointment begins with a detailed assessment of your symptoms, health history, balance, eye movements, and movement patterns. Based on your findings, your Physiotherapist will explain what may be contributing to your symptoms and create a personalized treatment plan to help you regain confidence in your movement.

  • Your follow-up appointments allow your Vestibular Physiotherapist to monitor your progress, reassess your symptoms, and adjust your treatment plan as needed. Depending on your goals, treatment may include vestibular rehabilitation exercises, balance training, gaze stabilization, or other techniques designed to help you move with greater confidence and less dizziness.
