I have been helping people improve their health through nutrition for nearly 20 years. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work in nutrition counselling, education, and research across British Columbia, Alberta, and the United States. While my experiences have taken me across North America, I grew up in the Lower Mainland and have always had a passion for food, cooking, science, and the powerful role nutrition can play in overall well-being.
I believe nutrition advice should be flexible, realistic, and personalized. Every person comes with unique goals, preferences, health concerns, and life circumstances, and I enjoy working collaboratively to develop strategies that feel achievable and sustainable. My approach focuses on helping clients build confidence with food, develop practical skills, and create meaningful habits that support long-term health without unnecessary restriction or deprivation.
I have a particular interest in digestive health, women's health, chronic disease management, cancer survivorship, and mindful eating. I enjoy helping clients make sense of complex nutrition information and translating the science into practical steps that fit everyday life.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll usually find me cooking with my young children (which is always a little messy!), exploring the outdoors, or enjoying the natural beauty of Vancouver Island.
