What are Steroid Injections?
Steroid injections deliver an anti-inflammatory medication (a corticosteroid) directly into a joint or surrounding soft tissue. They are commonly used to reduce inflammation-related pain and stiffness and may help some people return to daily activities with less discomfort, particularly when inflammation is a significant contributor to symptoms.
Please note: Dr. Sydney offers peripheral joint and soft tissue injections. She does not perform spinal (cervical, thoracic or lumbar) injections.
