  • Pilates & Sound Bath Experience

    Drop-in: $30 (plus gst)

For the first 45 minutes, you will be guided through a dynamic, full-body work out combining Pilates-based mat work with core conditioning exercises utilizing various props. The class will be followed by a 20-minute sound bath experience where you will have the opportunity to be immersed in the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls with vocal over-toning.

Sound healing is an ancient practice that uses various sound frequencies to encourage the nervous system to enter a calmer state, promoting relaxation, decreasing stress and boosting overall well-being.

  • Yoga mats and blankets are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. You will be lying on your back after class for up to 20 minutes, so bring anything extra you may need to feel comfortable.

  • Lisa has had the privilege of teaching Pilates for the last 17 years. Across a spectrum of movers from beginners to elite athletes and artists, she specializes in working with those with various chronic conditions, particularly lower back pain.

As a long-time practitioner of movement, meditation and sound, she has most recently been exploring the profoundly regulating effects of using crystal singing bowls in her practice. She is excited to offer her unique blend of these practices in her class.
