Danielle Mah started her academic journey at the University of British Columbia where she completed a BSc (Hon) in Human Kinetics, in 2004.  Following this, her studies took her overseas where she obtained a BSc (Hon) in Physiotherapy from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2008. Her post-graduate studies have included a Certificate in Orthopedic Manual Therapy from Curtin University in Perth, Australia, Dry Needling, Spinal Manipulation, Graston technique, among numerous other post graduate courses.

 Danielle obtained a vast amount of experience abroad. Her passions thrive in professional sport and pelvic health. She’s been a member of the physiotherapy department for the Rotunda Maternity Hospital in Dublin, treating people pre/post-partum, babies, and other gynecological issues. Along with Pelvic Health, Danielle has worked with the Irish National Team in international UEFA and FIFA competition throughout Europe with the Football (soccer) Association of Ireland. Along with many years in private practice in Ireland, Danielle’s rugby background spans from her time in Irish Club Rugby, which bridged her move back to Canada in 2013, to work with Rugby Canada.

 Danielle served as the Head Physiotherapist and Medical Manager for Rugby Canada for 7 years.  Since 2013, Danielle has travelled the world with the Men’s National Rugby 7’s and 15’s teams to Sevens World Series Events, World Cups, Commonwealth Games, PanAm Games, and most recently, to the qualifier for the Olympics with the Men’s Sevens Team.  Danielle has spoken at local and international conferences on Sport Injury, and participated in a National campaign for free online Concussion Education.  As well, she has experience advocating for safe sport as a member of an international player welfare committee for World Rugby.

 She has seen every manner of sports injury, pitch side and in clinic.  Her passion and focus has been to quickly and accurately assess, treat, and rehabilitate injury so that individuals can get back to their sport or activities as soon as possible, at their optimal performance.
