Patrick Rushton
Patrick was born in Vancouver, BC, and grew up on the North Shore. Growing up, Patrick played many sports – ice hockey, rugby, basketball, track and field, and mountain biking to name a few. This meant many hours working with physiotherapists when an injury popped up to help get him back onto the field/rink. This is where he first gained an interest in the Physiotherapy profession.
Patrick completed his undergraduate degree at UBC in Kinesiology and his Masters degree at London South Bank University in London, England. He has worked as a kinesiologist in a couple private clinics, gaining experience with orthopaedic injuries and concussions. Having successfully completed his first qualification exam, Patrick is excited to be starting his physiotherapy career as an interim physiotherapist.
Patrick is passionate about helping people achieve their goals, whether this be returning to the playing field, or returning to a weekend hobby. He believes in an individualized approach to meet the client where they are at, and uses a combination of education and exercise therapy to help his patients return to the lives they want to live.
Outside of the clinic, Patrick can be found biking around the city looking for new beer and food spots, trying to learn how to play tennis, and spending many hours in the kitchen trying new recipes.
Patrick is excited to join the Tall Tree team and is looking forward to helping you reach your goals!
