Meet Dr. Octavia Lui

Registered Clinical Counsellor

Dr. Octavia Lui is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and over a decade of academic and clinical experience across Canada, the U.S., and Hong Kong. She offers counselling in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, providing culturally attuned care to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, chronic pain, emotional regulation, and life transitions. Octavia has worked in hospital settings, community organizations, and post-secondary institutions, and brings particular insight into the pressures faced by high-performance professionals and students alike.

Her integrative approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy, and is supported by tools from DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness. Octavia strives to create a safe, inclusive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard and supported in their journey toward resilience, clarity, and sustainable growth.
