  • 6-Week Virtual Series

    Register for the full series or select weeks!

    When: Monday evenings, from 6:30PM to 7:45PM (excluding statutory holidays)

    Length: Each 60-75 minute class will cover an important topic related to navigating stress and adversity.

    Overview: At each virtual class, participants will learn valuable information on the topic, build skills, have an opportunity to ask questions, and leave with a personalized action plan. 

    Cost: $22 per week; or $120 for the full series (plus GST)

  • Week 1: Healthy Body: Resilient Mind

    Presented by Emily Bennett OT

    Understand the link between a healthy body and a resilient mind; learn key self-care practices for building your health and resilience

    Week 2: Calm Your Nervous System

    Presented by Cassi Starc OT

    Learn about the neurophysiology of stress and anxiety; implement short practices to calm your nervous system

    Week 3: Tame Your Anxiety

    Presented by Dr. Jo Epping-Jordan R.Psych.

    Understand the anxiety cycle and its key components; create a personalized action plan for reducing your anxiety

    Week 4: Face Grief and Loss

    Presented by Dr. Jo Epping-Jordan R.Psych.

    Expose common myths about grieving; learn effective techniques for helping yourself and others through significant life losses

    Week 5: Build Your Boundaries

    Presented by Cassi Starc OT

    Understand how boundary setting can reduce stress and strengthen relationships; learn key techniques for asking for what you want and saying no

    Week 6: Create a Rich and Meaningful Life

    Presented by Emily Bennett OT

    Learn how to reorient your life around your values; Identify and address common barriers that get in the way of living your life with meaning and purpose.
